Save Sharon Hospital, Inc

Save Sharon Hospital, Inc, is now a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving Sharon Hospital as a full-service hospital for future generations. We have hired an experienced healthcare lawyer, Paul Knag from Murtha Cullina LLP - one of Connecticut’s major law firms. Mr. Knag is co-chair of Murtha Cullina’s Health Care Group and the past president of the Connecticut Health Lawyers Association. He is helping us plan our legal strategy and communications with OHS, and is assisting in our legal filings in connection with the ongoing Certificate of Need process. In response to our letters and to those from the medical community thus far, on February 3, 2022, OHS opened an official investigation into Nuvance’s compliance at Sharon Hospital. We will continue to fight for the maintenance of vital health services at Sharon Hospital.
